About Us

dmF emporium and café, opening on the 17th November 2009, resides in the only freestanding terrace in the Blue Mountains. The white terrace building was built in the teen years of the early 1900’s. It was originally the local post office, general store, and take away, before becoming a restaurant in 1972 when the “Singapore Hut” opened for business.

Dorothy Wall, of Blinkey Bill fame, resided in Warrimoo for a short time, and was known to frequent the post office, making telephone calls from the only line in town…here !

Many people remember it as Victorias’ restaurant, and more recently Victorias’ Too, however, the current owner felt that it could be much more than just a night time establishment, and so dmF became a café as well, to give to the Warrimoo community a meeting place, somewhere to enjoy and catch up on the local happenings.

Now, you will discover local’s and ‘out-of-towners’ alike enjoying the warm and wonderful atmosphere found at dmF emporium and café.

With a young and dynamic team of friendly staff, dmF has branched out to include our lovely home made pizza, and Saturday nights are now filled with live music…which lends that extra something to the ambience of our place.

Come join us soon, you will come back for more
